I can’t believe how close we are to Thanksgiving!
We are celebrating with family this year and I’m really looking forward to seeing everyone, especially my niece who just had a baby…is there anything more exciting than a newborn?!

Thanksgiving Coloring
A few coloring sheets are a must to have on hand for Thanksgiving. In the past, we’ve shared some really cute turkey coloring pages that we made for the holiday, but this year I wanted to add a color-by-number to the mix.
Color-by-number sheets are fun for all ages, but are especially good practice for younger kids who are learning number recognition. Parents or teachers can add colors to the color words for kids who aren’t reading yet (for example, underline the word “brown” with a brown crayon and repeat for the other colors).
Plus, coloring is a wonderful activity for developing those essential fine motor skills kids will need for writing. In fact, there are a number of developmental benefits to coloring for kids.
